Switch from tab to tab should have it's own view

When you choose a tab, it should have its own view, with collapsed trees and only its trees displayed, example, first tab might be a favored folder on C: while tab 2 might be another drive letter, and tab 3 might be a folder on yet another drive lettter. When I choose a new tab set for another drive, the folder view is still the same as the first tab with trees open from the first. Irritating that way and not at all what one would assume in a tab settting. It doesn't remember my setting for each tab.
